Results Philippine Open Athletics Meet 2015

Laguna, Philippine_____ Day 2 (20 March) of the 2015 edition of Philippine National Open-Invitational Athletics Championships saw the host sprinters, Brandon and Katherine claiming the century dash's victories. US-based sprinter Brandon Thomas overthrew the challenge of Malaysia's Eddie Edward Jr to win the men's 100m in a time of 10.80 (-0.2), with the Malaysian SEA Games representative finished a metre behind with 10.89 clocking. The women's 100m gold was taken by a SEA Games long jumper, Katherine Khay Santos (11.99, +1.3) who just returned home from her USA training stint.

100m (20) (-0.2): 1. Brandon Thomas 10.80,  2. Eddie Edward Jr MAS 10.89,  3. Rodquem Maullon Jr 11.03,  4. Noli Torres 11.04,  5. Jesson Ramil Cid 11.06,  6. Allan Paul Plana 11.10.

800m (20):  1. Marco Vilog 1:51.60,  2. Wenlie Maulas 1:51.91,  3. Kesavan Maniam MAS 1:51.98,  4. Jonforey Opendo 1:53.39,  5. Alvin Castanaes 1:53.66,  6. Elbren Neri 1:53.86.

Decathlon (20):  Jhonrey Ubas 6105 (??),  2. Jhonrey Mabuyao 5519 (??),  3. Avery Cuyugan 4669 (??).

10000m (20):  Julius Sermona 32:56.53,  2. Edgardo Buenavista 33:12.33,  3. Richard Salano 33:42.41.


WOMEN
100m (20) (+1.3): Katherine Khay Santos 11.99,  2. Ireen Akter 12.70,  3. Joy Kuan SIN 12.83.

3000m Steeplechase (20): Jessica Lyn Barnard 11:34.45,  2. Jenismylle Mabunga 12:26.42,  3. Eliza Ng YuJun SIN 12:50.51.
